Who we are
since 1999 leader in the canning industry
Founded in 1999, ITALCARCIOFI Srl is a leading manufacturer of premium quality preserved vegetables. The experience in process artichokes and other vegetables, combined with an accurate internal organization, has developed a wide range of references, about 1054 (in oil, vinegar and brine, appetizer and patè). Our staff has an average age of 35 years, it’s qualified and follows the market trends. Our projects have a target in common, that is guarantee the product’s quality.
The factory is located in San Ferdinando di Puglia, a little city in “Tavoliere delle Puglie”, a total of 40.000 square meter facility, divided in production’ site (7.000 sq. m), offices (300 sq. m) and external square (25.700 sq. m). Our history and experience have lead us as one of the major industry that cooperate with local farmers, as we process from fresh and seasonal crops.
Our strategy, based on mass customization organization, guarantee a wide variety of products matched with an high quality of raw materials, to comply the requests from demanding clients. All the production steps are checked by specialized operators, which use technologic machines. For example, the labeling step has improved thanks to the attention of internal designer, which guarantee the conformity to the laws, and to the use of modern machinery that allow us to print private labels too.
We have also an internal laboratory with a team of biologists that check all the steps to guarantee the compliance with the food safety standards of our products. For this reason, we use a quality system (H.A.C.C.P.) and certified checks in accordance with international standards such as ISO 9001:2015, BRC and IFS. At last, we have installed an X-ray machine that during the labeling step scan all the references to discard the ones with foreign bodies.
Thanks to our attention to innovations and marketing strategies, we are currently leading both national and international markets, exhibiting in the main fairs, such as Summer Fancy Food 2014, Sial Parigi 2014 and 2018, Sial Abu Dhabi 2014, Tutto Food Milano 2015 and 2017, Expo Milano 2015, Anuga Colonia 2015 and 2017, Cibus Parma 2016 and 2018, Gulfood Dubai 2018 and 2019, FHA Singapore 2018, PLMA Amsterdam 2018, IFE London 2019.

Italcarciofi S.r.l. is equipped with an internal laboratory for chemical and microbiological analysis company, consisting of highly qualified staff, who constantly ensures compliance with the current regulations about food safety according to the manual of corporate self-control HACCP. In this regard, it was implemented a program of interventions that has further improved its business system in compliance with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 (Certificate Check Fruit), the international standard IFS (International Food Standard version 6) and the global Standard for food Safety (BRC food Certificate).

The activities are part of a unique project concerning the development of a quality culture not only within the company but also outside, in order to involve more and more customers and the suppliers / producers who interact with the establishment.
